The hotel's ground level has 26 rooms all with a private patio leading out onto beautiful manicured lawns and a sparkling pool. An upmarket restaurant also leads out to the pool patio area. The lounge/reception area and conference facilities are also situated on the ground level of the air-conditioned hotel. The fully equipped 100-seater conference/function facility is also situated on the ground floor. With its lakes, lagoons, freshwater swamps and grasslands, it supports more species of animal than the better known parks and deltas in Southern Africa. Further facilities available to guests at the historical hotel include a lobby with 24-hour check-out service, a café and a restaurant.

Each room features an en suite bathroom with shower, bathtub and hairdryer, a double bed and a private balcony or terrace. Other in-room amenities include a TV, safe, tea and coffee making facilities and individually regulated air conditioning.

The restaurant is open to both hotel guests and non-resident guests and offers full English buffet breakfasts. It also offers a light lunch and full à la carte menu for lunch and dinner along with regular buffet lunches and dinners.

Check-in time is 2 pm and check-out time is 10 am.

From Durban, take the N2 North. Guests have the option of the toll road or the alternate route to Stanger. 40 km after the turn-off to Richards Bay, turn right to Mtubatuba and once in Mtubatuba, turn left to St Lucia (25 km), and once there turn right into McKenzie Street. On the right-hand side is a big wooden building, and a big red sign which says HOTEL, turn right. The hotel is 100 m along on the right-hand side.
