Built in 2010, the hotel has been designed for the 1-night
traveller arriving or departing from King Shaka International
Airport and the 2-night conference delegate having a conference at
the hotel. The air-conditioned establishment comprises 48 guest
rooms and welcomes guests in a lobby with 24-hour reception and
check-out service. Facilities on offer to guests include a hotel
safe, bar, conference facilities, room service, laundry service and
a car park. There is a gaming station at the reception, a
restaurant, plasma screen televisions, DSTV and wireless
Internet.
Rooms
The twin-bed studio rooms come with en suite facilities with a
shower. Modern in design and practical, the rooms come equipped
with a hairdryer, safe, telephone and tea/coffee station. There is
also a satellite/cable TV, Internet access, ironing set, air
conditioning and central heating in each room. Basically the rooms
contain everything today's modern executive travellers require.
Restaurant & Food
Breakfast is served each morning and lunch and dinner may be
selected à la carte. Food is light and healthy with a deli on hand
for late night snacks.
Activities & Sport
Guests may take a refreshing dip in the outdoor swimming pool and
entertainment programmes are arranged for children. The hotel is
within minutes of several world class golf courses, for example, at
Zimbali Lodge, some 4 km away.
Comments
Check-in time is from 2 pm onwards and check-out time is before 10
am. The reception is open 24 hours a day. Key cards expire at 10 am
on check-out day. Guests requiring late check-out should report to
reception to extend their key card.
Directions, How to get
there
Take the N2 (outer ring road) from Durban/Umhlanga/King Shaka
Airport and then take the Ballito/Umhlanga turnoff. Turn right into
Ballito Drive and right again at the first traffic circle just
before Ballito Lifestyle Center. Turn right again at the second
circle, go straight and turn right at Nandi Mthembu Drive. The
hotel is at the end on the left.
