This family-friendly historical hotel enjoys a prime location on the Oban seafront, the most popular west coast holiday town in Scotland. Recently restored to its original Victorian glory, the hotel is characterised by its high ceilings, spacious rooms, great food and customer service. Its 50 modern and comfortable bedrooms are all recently refurbished but still retain their Victorian features, such as large windows and plenty of space. There are also two bars available, the Harbour Bar and Harbour Lights Bar. Further facilities on offer to guests include a lobby area with a 24-hour reception, lift access and a laundry service.

All bedrooms offer a large bed, TV, direct dial telephone and a hairdryer. Tea and coffee making facilities are also included. Early morning wake-up calls, newspapers, an iron and ironing board and dry cleaning services are available from reception. All rooms come with an en suite private bathroom with a shower/bathtub and a radio and heating are also standard.

The hotel features the Alba Restaurant, which serves the finest Scottish food.

Guests arriving from Glasgow should take the M8 westbound to the A82 towards Loch Lomond and Crianlarich, then the A85, passing Loch Awe to Oban. Those coming from Inverness take the A82 to Ballachulish, then the A85 to Oban. The hotel is on the waterfront at the North Pier.
