The resort is located on the west coast of the island of Koh Lanta Yai. Occupying 12 acres of landscaped hillside and beachfront by the Andaman Sea, the island is part of the Krabi province in Southwest Thailand and is located approx. 75 km south of Krabi city. The resort is ideally located as a base for diving and snorkelling excursions to the neighbouring islands of Koh Rok, Koh Phi Phi, Koh Haa, Hin Muang, Hin Daeng, Koh Ngai, Koh Mook, Koh Chuek and Koh Kradan. Krabi is an 80 minute flight away from Bangkok. The transfer from Krabi airport to the hotel by van & speedboat takes approx. 1 ½ hours. The second nearest airport is Trang, 90 minutes by air from Bangkok. The transfer time from Trang airport by van & speedboat takes approx. 2 ½ hours. The transfer by van only takes 3 ½ hours. It takes approx. 3 ½ hours to travel from Phuket airport to the resort by van & speedboat and 4 ½ hours by van only.

This air-conditioned club resort is oriental in style and has an ambience created fully in tune with its tranquil island surroundings. The resort's approach is one of subtle simplicity, offering an atmosphere in which guests can relax and revitalise. The hotel comprises of 48 one-room, thatched villas, built on the hillside overlooking the communal resort facilities at the beachfront. Facilities at the hotel include a reception lobby, currency exchange, a restaurant, a café, a bar, a pub, a disco, a TV room, Internet access, and room and laundry services. The hotel also operates a bike hire service.

Rooms
There are 3 types of villa: 3 ?Star Path' villas with verandas, on which there is a gazebo and bathtub, 20 ?Veranda' villas with balconies and 25 ?Cottage' standard villas. The villas feature partially open air bathrooms with a shower and bathtub, a hairdryer, a refrigerator, a telephone, tea and coffee making facilities, twin or double beds with futon and centrally regulated air-conditioning units.

Restaurant & Food
The hotel has one main dining restaurant where breakfast, lunch and dinner are all a la carte. The restaurant is nicely located on the beachfront and adjacent to the hotel's small swimming pool.

Activities & Sport
Facilities at the hotel include an outdoor swimming pool, sun loungers, a sun terrace and massage treatments. Recreation includes the IBARK Club, sports and games and on- and offshore soft adventure sports, such as canoeing.
