The concept of the resort is based on the first original Thai house
on Lamai Beach. The accommodations are designed in traditional Thai
style with modern amenities. The resort, which was renovated in
2008, offers Thai hospitality and comfort in its 60 rooms. The
property is framed by coconut trees and beautiful gardens facing
the panorama view of the stunning Lamai Beach. Guests are welcomed
in the lobby, which offers 24-hour reception and check-out service
and a hotel safe. The bar and restaurant provide dining and drinks.
Internet access is available, and room and laundry services are
offered for an additional fee. There is a car park for the use of
guests who arrive by car.
Rooms
The hotel has 4 room categories, including beach front villa, Thai
house villa, deluxe family and deluxe room. Deluxe design and rooms
decorated in modern Thai style offer the sensations of warmth,
comfort and relaxation. Each accommodation has its own private
balcony. The private bathrooms include a shower, bath and
hairdryer, and rooms include double or king-size beds, direct dial
telephone, satellite/cable TV, Internet access, a safe, mini fridge
and tea and coffee making facilities. The air conditioning is
individually regulated for maximum comfort.
Restaurant & Food
The hotel's restaurant serves fresh seafood and international
cuisine. A breakfast buffet is offered daily, and lunch and dinner
are available buffet style, as a set menu or à la carte. The resort
also hosts a number of theme nights including Thai Night with
classical Thai dancing, a Polynesian show on BBQ Night and dining
with live bands available seasonally.
Activities & Sport
Day activities feature several specialities of Koh Samui. Staff
will help all guests experience Thai culture with daily activities
such as creating handmade souvenirs from plants, fun games for
families, Thai and local cooking classes, fruit and vegetable
carving, Thai boxing classes, learning basic Thai language,
buffalo's skin shadow play and massage programme. Detailed
information is available according to the season. The resort also
offers an outdoor swimming pool with children's swimming area, a
sun terrace, massage treatments, beach volleyball and jet skiing
(extra charge applies). The nearest golf course is around 40 km
away.
Directions, How to get
there
Transfer time from Koh Samui airport approximately 30 minutes. Bus
from Bangkok to Samui will take 12 hours. Daily Ferry Service will
take one hour and half for every trip duration 08.00 am to 06.00
pm.
