The resort will in time become Malaysia's premier ecotourism
holiday destination. Set in the midst of a tropical paradise, the
resort, which is located on Pulau Banding, promises to be

close to nature. The unspoiled magic of Belum, which literally
means ‘land before time', makes it the perfect habitat for 14 of
the world's most threatened mammals, including the Malaysian Tiger,
Sumatran Rhinoceros, the White-handed Gibbon, Asiatic Elephant, and
Malayan Tapir. It also makes this forest an ideal destination for
ecotourism activities, such as wildlife watching, education and
research initiatives, which support the conservation efforts of the
area. There are 70 rooms in total at this eco hotel. Guests are
welcomed in the lobby with a hotel safe. A TV lounge, air
conditioning, a restaurant and room service. Business travellers
can make use of the conference facilities.

Directions, How to get
there
The hotel is located in the middle of the Belum-Temengor Rainforest
Complex, midway between the east and west coasts of norhtern
Peninsular Malaysia. The nearest towns to Belum are Gerik in Perak
and Jeli in Kelantan, linked by the East-West Highway. From Kuala
Lumpur, take the North-South Highway heading north towards Ipoh.
Take the Kuala Kangsar exit and head towards Gerik, passing by the
town of Lenggong. This highway takes guests straight to the
hotel.
