A beautiful property, restored to the highest standards and highly
recommended for any visitor who wants to stay in one of the best
five star hotels in Europe. The hotel also has one of the country's
most spectacularly beautiful spas. The spa is free for guests
although children under 16 are not allowed access. The spa has a
breathtaking pool, Jacuzzi, sauna and steam room and offers a
variety of treatments including massage. The hotel also has a small
gym.
Exterior: A modern, hugely impressive five-star deluxe hotel can be
found behind a distinguished historical facade which is split into
three parts by tall glass fronted atriums. The hotel is beautifully
lit in the evening.
Lobby: You have to walk through the lower level lobby entrance,
with its concierge desk, to reach the elegant reception with its
grand staircase leading up to the rooms. Marble floors, antique
chairs, a colonial style bar, wide welcoming reception desk and the
tall atrium leading up to a glass ceiling make this a stunning
hotel entrance.
Rooms
All rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated in modern design
and only the finest fabrics and materials have been used for the
soft furnishings. Some of the rooms overlook the hotel's attractive
atrium whilst others overlook the surrounding histroical streets.
All rooms are spacious with en-suite bathrooms and also offer room
service, mini-bar, satellite and pay per view TV, internet
connection and climate control heating.
Restaurant & Food
The hotel offers a choice of three restaurants and one bar with a
comprehensive selection of culinary delights from all over the
world.
Activities & Sport
The Royal Spa offers a wide range of relaxation options, such as a
15 m long pool, various relaxation areas, saunas, a steam room, hot
tubs, tropical rain showers, Niagara bathtubs, mud and kelp baths
and a selection of therapeutic treatments and massages (charges
apply). There is also a hotel gym on site, in which guests can work
out. Entry to the spa is permitted for all guests over 16 and is
free of charge for those staying in the hotel. If accompanying a
person under the age of 16, guests are provided with free entry to
the spa facilities at the sister hotel, Corinthia Aquincum, as well
as free transfer to that hotel.
Comments
Children under 16 are not allowed to use the Royal Spa. If someone
wishes to use the spa, we offer free taxi transfer to the Corinthia
Aquincum Hotel and the guests can use the Aquincum's Aphrodite Spa
free of charge instead.
