Surrounded by splendid gardens and situated in a rural setting,
this hotel occupies a 16th-century farmhouse which has been
perfectly restored and carefully decorated with valuable antiques.
Colourful gardens, halls with a certain character, perfect for
having a drink, and large dining-rooms for special celebrations are
some of the facilities enjoyed by the guests. The air-conditioned
hotel includes 20 enchanting suite-type bedrooms which offer all
the comforts of a modern hotel and were renovated in 2002. Internet
access is also provided (fees apply) along with parking
facilities.
Rooms
All of the rooms are fully equipped with individually adjustable
air-conditioning, satellite TV, direct dial telephone, Internet
access, en suite bathroom with bath and shower, safe, minibar and
sitting room. There is also WIFI coverage for the gardens. The
tower (25 metres tall) houses some of the rooms, offering views of
the surrounding area.
Restaurant & Food
Xavi, Toni, Juli and Ferran took over the restaurant in 1994, and
since then they have worked to culminate the ideal of creating a
new Catalan cuisine, based on the ingredients and seeking a modern,
avant-garde style without altering the essence and the conception
of the dishes prepared. There are various dining-rooms and
terraces, all decorated with antiques which have belonged to the
various generations who have passed through the house. There are
also have various private rooms for groups from 10 to 200
persons.
Activities & Sport
The hotel features a splendid pool and opposite the rooms, in the
garden, guests will find two pergolas, the ideal secluded spot.
Comments
The Restaurant will be closed every Sunday night and Monday the
whole day.

Take AP-7 Girona direction, exit 5 (L'Escala/Empúries). Proceed in
direction of Orriols, Figueres... In the Orriolsarea, continue on
the GI-623. Cross Borrassà. In Vilafant, continue and enter
Avinyonet de Puigventós.
