Built in 1979 and renovated in 2004, this beach hotel is located on
a main road and comprises a 2-floored main building and a 3-floored
annexe building. Surrounded by 55,000 m² of subtropical gardens,
this hotel has a total of 274 rooms of which 81 are studios, 4 are
single rooms and 189 are double rooms. Facilities include a foyer,
a 24-hour reception desk, a safe, a currency exchange desk, a
cloakroom, a café, shops, a hairdresser, several bars (including a
snack and cocktail bar) and a kid's club. Guests are invited to
dine in style in one of the several air-conditioned restaurants
(including an à la carte restaurant) with separate no-smoking areas
and highchairs for infants are available. Guests may park their
cars either in the hotel car park, or in the garage. Business
guests may make use of the conference room and the public Internet
terminal Laundry and room services are available as well as medical
assistance.
Rooms
The spacious guest rooms are located in 27 small three storied
villas. They have been designed to offer a private and restful
retreat. Each room has a private terrace. Each block is named after
Andalusian towns with each guest room identified by hand painted
ceramic signage.
Restaurant & Food
A buffet is prepared at breakfast and at lunchtime. At midday and
in the evenings, it is also possible to select dishes from the à la
carte menu. Special dietary requirements may be accommodated,
including individual-specific options.
Activities & Sport
Guests may take advantage of the indoor swimming pool, and 3 pools
(one of which is heated) with children's pool, bar, parasols and
sun loungers. It is also possible to kick back and relax in the
hotel sauna or enjoy a massage. For sports enthusiasts, there are
activities such as banana boating, water skiing, jet skiing,
surfing, wind surfing, sailing, catamaran sailing, canoeing, tennis
at the tennis centre with 2 hard and 8 sandy courts (floodlit),
aerobics, riding (close by), mountain biking, golfing at the
Marbella Club Golf Resort and a visit to the gym.
