This family-friendly luxury accommodation is located within the immediate vicinity of the village of Northstar, where there are numerous restaurants and shop, and the slopes. Dinner Lake is about a 30-minute drive away. Kings Beach is about 12 km away and Squaw Valley is about 30 km from the establishment.

At the gateway to the village, the lodge's two buildings offer luxurious one-, two-, three- and four-bedroom condominiums, some with expansive views of the mountain and surroundings and in the immediate vicinity of the village and the slopes. Guests of this family-friendly aparthotel are welcomed in the lobby with lift access. Air conditioning, a car park and a garage are also available.

Rooms
Each luxury residence offers a large living space and is perfect for families and children with great appointments such as a washer/ dryer, the latest audiovisual equipment, satellite TV, a fireplace and more. The kitchens come with a fridge, microwave, and tea and coffee making facilities. All are also en suite with a shower, bath and hairdryer. Further in-room amenities include a double bed, direct dial telephone, a radio and an ironing set. The air conditioning and heating are individually regulated.

Comments
The central check-in for all of the residences is conveniently located at the Iron Horse South Lodge lobby situated at the upper skier drop off loop on Northstar Drive at the village. After hours, clients are asked to call the Tahoe Mountain Resorts Lodging Front Desk (530) 550-3300 when they arrive and use the intercom on the right side of the lobby entrance. Check in is at 5 pm and check out is at 10 am.
