The hotel is the only beachfront hotel and convention facility along the Santa Cruz Monterey Bay coastline. This charming property has 163 rooms spread over 12 floors. This is a completely non-smoking hotel. Guests are welcomed in a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out services. Facilities include air conditioning, a hotel safe, lift access to the upper floors, a newspaper stand, conference facilities, Internet access, room and laundry services as well as a car park. Guest can enjoy a drink in the bar and dine in the restaurant.

The spacious, well appointed rooms all offer stunning views of the local area. All rooms have been recently renovated. A fridge, coffee maker, ironing set, hairdryer and safe all come as standard features. All also have an en suite bathroom with a shower. Further in-room amenities include a double or king-size bed, direct dial telephone, satellite/cable TV, radio and Internet access. The air conditioning and heating can be individually regulated.

The hotel has a restaurant open for breakfast and set menu lunch and dinner that offers a wide variety of local cuisine, pasta and seafood. Guest can also relax beside the poolside bar.

The hotel has a beautiful beachfront pool, a hot tub and a children's pool. The nearby beach is sandy. DeLaveaga Golf Course is around a 10-minute drive away.

Guests are invited to check in after 4 pm and are requested to check out before 11 am. Minimum check-in age is 21 years. Pets are not allowed.

From San Francisco International Airport (SFO), head northwest. Take the ramp on the left onto US-101 S. Take exit 398B to merge onto CA- 85 S toward Santa Cruz/Cupertino. Take exit 11A to merge onto CA- 17 S toward Santa Cruz. Merge onto CA- 1 N via the ramp to CA-9/Half Moon Bay/Boulder Creek/Ocean Street/Beaches. Slight right at Mission St (signs for State Route 1 N/Half Moon Bay). Turn left at Bay St, then turn left at W Cliff Dr. The hotel will be on the right.
