The hotel is just steps from the Main Lodge of the Mammoth Mountain ski area. The location provides a wonderful winter ski experience, along with summer activities such as hiking, rock climbing and mountain biking. The centre of Mammoth Lakes is about 10 km from the hotel.

This 3-storey ski hotel with a 24-hour front desk is surrounded by the majestic peaks of the Eastern Sierra Mountains. The hotel was built in 1954 and the premises were renovated in 2011. 24-hour check-out service is available and facilities include a games room. The hotel has a café, bar, lounge and a grill. Conference facilities are on-hand for business travellers and all guests can take advantage of the car park, garage and bicycle hire service.

Rooms
Each room has an en suite bathroom with a shower, bath and a hairdryer. Amenities include a direct dial telephone, satellite/cable TV, Internet access, and tea and coffee making facilities. An ironing set and central heating are standard features in all accommodation units.

Restaurant & Food
There is a dry creek bar and lounge, as well as the mountainside Grill.

Activities & Sport
Guests can take a refreshing dip in the outdoor swimming pool and they can also work out in the gym. The hotel organises an entertainment programme for children. The Sierra Star golf course is about 10 km away.
