This comfortable, well-equipped lodge is located in El Portal overlooking the Merced River. It is just 4 km from the western entrance to the famous Yosemite National Park.

The wild and winding Merced River, is right behind the lodge, the river is renowned for white-water rafting. Yosemite National Park, a mountain wonderland, offers hiking, rock-climbing, fishing, birding, wildlife viewing, bicycling, horseback riding, swimming, rafting, skiing, snowshoeing, and strolls through ancient sequoia groves.
Exterior: It is a 2-story accommodation and just renovated in 1994.
Lobby: The lobby is large spacious and comfortable

Rooms
The tastefully fitted rooms all come with an en suite bathroom with hairdryer, a direct dial telephone, and satellite/ cable TV. There is also a kitchenette with a fridge, microwave oven, and tea and coffee making facilities. The air conditioning and heating are individually regulated, and all rooms also features either a balcony or terrace.

Restaurant & Food
The restaurant serves American cuisine. The restaurant is open for breakfast and lunch daily.

Activities & Sport
Depending on the season, guests can make use of the two outdoor swimming pools. The hotel also has a small indoor swimming pool with several Jacuzzis.
