This is a very fine and personable hotel located within the Lake District. The staff are immensely friendly (many still remain since the hotel opened) and give a great Cumbrian welcome. In addition, the hotel offers guests complimentary Spa membership, which includes use of the 13m deck level Swimming Pool and relaxation area, Sauna, Steam room, Whirlpool and fully equipped air-conditioned exercise area. It is just a short drive from the heart of the Lakes.
Exterior: The North Lakes hotel was opened in 1985 and is a modern, Scandinavian-style propoerty.
Lobby: The reception and public areas are very spacious with high ceilings and decorated with oak woods.

The 84 en-suite rooms are all of a very high standard, modern and contemporary in design, spacious and pleasant. Guests are allocated as standard the Classic Room with facilities including Flat screen TV with satellite channels, direct dial telephone, Iron and ironing board, Trouser press, Hairdryer, hospitality tray with fresh ground coffee, selection of teas and biscuits and complimentary Pecksniffs toiletries in the bathroom. WiFi Internet access is available and free of charge to all residents. Another lovely touch is that fresh milk is delivered daily to every room.
