The hotel is situated in the heart of London's Theatreland overlooking the Aldwych, and is only minutes from all the major tourist attractions. Built in 1908 and renovated in 2004, this city hotel is spread over 8 floors and contains around 303 rooms and 6 suites. Guests are offered a lobby with reception (24 hour service), lifts, a currency exchange counter, hotel safes, a cloakroom and a café. The main restaurant is a lovely high-ceilinged room with palm trees and a raised seating area from which diners can look out over the whole room. The hotel's world famous 'Palm Court' is central London's only remaining regular afternoon tea dance venue.
