This attractive and traditional hotel is situated in the picturesque old town on the island of Gamla stan directly beside the river that lies just across the road. Superb views are to be had out over Strömmen, where the Baltic Sea and the lake of Mälaren meet. Various sights and shops are located in the immediate vicinity of the hotel and the nearest underground station is Kungsträdgården.

A lovely boutique property in the Old Town overlooking the water with many historical features. The public areas are modern and trendy and the hotel also features a small pool and sauna in the basement cellar.
Exterior: The hotel is a historic building with impressive architecture.
Lobby: The lobby is small and modern and leads off to a small library, bar and the restaurant.

Rooms
Rooms are medium in size and more traditional in style than the public areas of the hotel, keeping with the historic nature of the property. Decor is white linens with red accents and each room has a small desk and television. Bathrooms feature a bathtub with shower and Moulton Brown products.

Restaurant & Food
The restaurant and bar at Hotel Reisen benefit from the pleasant view of where Lake Malaren meets the Baltic Sea. It serves Swedish dishes, both traditional and contemporary.
