Built in 1906 and renovated in 2009, this city hotel wants to
provide guests with a total experience that offers tradition,
quality and luxury. The hotel is beautifully located by the Motala
River in a luxurious building from the turn of the last century.
The lobby bar, located in the heart of the hotel, serves as a
natural meeting spot for socialising, eating, drinking or just
reading a book. In addition to the 205 guest rooms, this
air-conditioned establishment also features a lobby with 24-hour
reception and check-out services, a hotel safe and hairdressing
salon. Guests can also relax in the TV lounge, pub and restaurant,
while the hotel disco provides for some well earned after-dinner
entertainment. Business guests can take advantage of the hotel's
conference facilities and Internet access, while, for an extra fee,
guests can also use the laundry and room services and those
arriving by car may leave their vehicle in the hotel garage.
Rooms
The rooms are decorated with that personal touch and are equipped
with everything one would expect from a first-class hotel. Every
room has cable-TV, a flat screen TV, a telephone, a bath tub/shower
and a hairdryer. Other in-room amenities include a double bed or
king-size bed, a radio, Internet access, a safe and a minibar, as
well as air conditioning. All rooms are smoke-free and several of
them are allergy adapted.
Restaurant & Food
This restaurant offers an exciting, high quality a la carte menu.
Here you can enjoy good food and drink while marveling at the
magnificent view of the Motala River.
Activities & Sport
Feeling good depends greatly on a sense of well-being. Spending a
few hours on oneself is a good investment rather than a luxury. The
hotel enjoys its own spa and relaxation centre, offering a large
number of treatments. It also has a hot tub, a sauna and a
relaxation room. Spa and massage treatments are offered by the
professional staff and the nearest golf course is roughly 2 km from
the hotel.
