This hotel is located in a district of Ruedesheim called Assmannshausen, which consists only of beautiful historical buildings. Assmannshausen is about 5km away from the city center of Rudesheim. The local train station is only 5 minutes away. 5 kms to city centre 60 kms to the nearest airport (frankfurt) 1 km to the nearest station (assmannhausen) 70 km to the nearest fair site (in frankfurt - messe)

The hotel offers a very traditional and unique product.
Exterior: Situated on the banks of the river Rhine it is an historic hotel built in medieval style with very attractive little spires. The building dates back to the 15th century.
Lobby: It has a small lobby furnished with many pieces of antique furniture.

Rooms
The bedrooms are individually furnished to a high standard. The furnishings and decor of all of them is in country house style with chintz and floral fabrics and antique furniture. The bathrooms are luxurious with extensive use of marble and with many of them having gold fittings. The rooms located at the front of the hotel have Rhine river views whilst those facing the back overlook vineyards. Due to the age of the building the rooms vary a lot in size, but on average they are medium sized. Both the rooms and the bathrooms are in very good condition.

Restaurant & Food
The restaurant is very beautiful, with a traditional decor and subdued lighting combining to create a very sophisticated atmosphere.
