canoes, table tennis, snorkeling, tennis, wind surfing, sunset
cruises, shark feeding, jeep safari tours and 4 wheel driving are
some of the things to do at this magnificent resort. Le Tahaa has
recently constructed several brand-new amenities, including a state
of the art fitness centre, a specialty fare at the Manea Spa, an
entertainment and relaxation room and a new dive centre.
Exterior: Traditional Polynesian style hotel, with a fresh water
swimming pool, next to the beach. Pool bar and cafe "La Plage".
Lobby: The public areas are built in the trees, providing an
exquisite view of the lagoon and Taha'a Island.
Rooms
Each accommodation unit features a private patio amidst tropical
gardens, a spacious lounge and a terrace. Further amenities include
a shower, hairdryer, direct dial telephone, TV, radio, safe,
minibar, tea and coffee making facilities and individually
regulated air conditioning. The beach villas each come with a
private swimming pool, while the over-water bungalows each offer a
private deck with direct access to the lagoon.
Restaurant & Food
There are three restaurants and two bars. La Plage is located by
the pool and beachside. Vanille is the main restaurant and Ohiri is
fine dining - both are located in the centre of the resort, among
the trees. The restaurants also host beach barbecues and Polynesian
and seafood buffets and there is live entertainment.
Activities & Sport
The resort provides helicopter tours of Taha'a and Bora Bora.
Guests may enjoy the resort's outdoor swimming pool and massage
treatments. Jet skiing is available for a fee, and windsurfing,
canoeing, pedal boating, tennis, table tennis and beach volleyball
are also on offer.
