Understanding the critical situation in the Covid-19 era, government restrictions and regulations are implemented for safety and comfort when traveling. Before traveling, here is information regarding the latest flight regulations as of September 2022.*

1. Domestic Flights

   Effective from 29 August 2022, the regulations below are domestic flight requirements. This provision is based on Official Information from the Circular Letter of the COVID-19 Task Force Number 24 of 2022 & its Addendum and the Circular Letter of the Ministry of Transportation Number 82 of 2022.

   1. Passengers over 18 years of age must have had 3 doses of vaccination (booster) and do not require to attach a negative result of a PCR or rapid antigen test before the flight.
   2. Passengers over 18 years of age who are vaccinated with 1 dose or 2 doses are prohibited from traveling on domestic flights.
   3. Passengers over the age of 18 who are not vaccinated due to health/comorbid require a doctor's note from a Government Hospital stating that they are not eligible/cannot be vaccinated against COVID-19.
   4. Passengers aged 6-17 years must bring a certificate of vaccine dose 2, without having to attach a negative PCR or rapid antigen test result before the flight. The COVID-19 vaccination exemption applies to passengers aged 6-17 years who are traveling overseas.
   5. Passengers aged 6-17 years who have been vaccinated with 1 dose are prohibited to fly domestically.
   6. Passengers aged 6-17 years who are not vaccinated due to health/comorbid require a doctor's note from a Government Hospital stating that they are not eligible/cannot be vaccinated against COVID-19.
   7. Children under 6 years old are allowed to fly without the need to fulfill vaccination requirements and do not require to attach a negative PCR or rapid antigen test result, but must be accompanied by a parent/guardian on their journey who implements strict health protocols.
   8. Foreign citizens (foreigners) who are over 18 years old and come from international travel must bring a vaccine dose 2 certificate, without having to attach a negative PCR or rapid antigen test result before the flight.
2. International flights to enter Indonesia

   Referring to the entry requirements of the Republic of Indonesia in accordance with the provisions of the official website of IATA and Indonesia's Official Immigration Page, currently there are restrictions upon arrival on international routes, and can only be done through the airports listed below:

   • Soekarno-Hatta International Airport (CGK) Tangerang - Jakarta
   • Juanda International Airport (SUB) - Surabaya
   • Sam Ratulangi International Airport (MDC) - Manado
   • I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS) Denpasar - Bali (for foreigners with tourist purposes)
   • Hang Nadim International Airport (BTH) Batam - Kep. Riau (for foreigners with tourist purposes)
   • King Fiisabilillah International Airport (TNJ) Tanjung Pinang - Kep. Riau (for foreigners with tourist destinations on charter flights)
   • New Yogyakarta International Airport (YIA) - Kulon Progo, Yogyakarta
   • Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport (UPG) - Makassar
   • Kualanamu International Airport (KNO) - Medan
   • Zainuddin Abdul Madjid Airport (LOP) - West Nusa Tenggara

   The official rules are listed below:

   1. All Indonesian Citizens (WNI) are allowed to enter Indonesia.
   2. Foreign Citizens (WNA) from all foreign countries either directly or transit in a foreign country must meet the following requirements:
   • Foreign nationals holding valid Visas or Stay Permits (consisting of: Service Visas, Diplomatic Visas, Visit Visas, Limited Stay Visas, Service Stay Permits, Diplomatic Stay Permits, Limited Stay Permits, Permanent Stay Permits)
   • Foreign nationals with humanitarian and health purposes (must obtain a recommendation from the ministry/agency that carries out the COVID-19 function)
   • Foreigner crew members of the means of transportation who come with their vehicle.
   • Foreign delegates from G20 member countries
   • Foreign nationals who comply with the bilateral Travel Corridor Agreement (TCA) agreement scheme
   • Foreign nationals who have obtained special permission in writing from the ministry/agency.
   3. Foreign Citizens (WNA) with the aim of traveling to enter Indonesian territory must have a Short Visit Visa in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
3. International Flights Out of Indonesia
