Renovated in 2005, this air-conditioned city hotel comprises 15
floors with a total of 570 rooms of which 30 are suites. Facilities
include a foyer with a 24-hour reception desk, a safe, a lift and a
cloakroom in addition to a newspaper stand, a revolving carousel
bar with a live pianist, 2 restaurants, conference facilities and
public Internet access. The room and laundry services may be taken
advantage of, as can the car park for which fees apply.
Rooms
The beautifully refurbished air-conditioned rooms each feature a
marble and granite bathroom with a shower and a hairdryer, a direct
dial telephone, satellite/cable TV, an Internet connection, a
double/king-sized bed, a minibar, a coffee machine and ironing
equipment. Individually controllable heating as well as oversized
hire safes round off the offerings. The deluxe rooms feature the
same amenities, they are however larger and have a view of the
French Quarter or the Mississippi.

share the existing bedding in a double room. A parking fee of 15

Directions, How to get
there
From Airport: Head I-10 East toward New Orleans Business District
and Slidell. Exit Superdome/Poydras Street (Exit 234B). Proceed
down ramp and continue straight for 8 blocks, staying in left hand
lane.~ Turn left onto Camp Street and continue 4 blocks to Canal
Street (a big 2-way Boulevard).~ Cross over Canal Street which
turns into Chartres Street (in the French Quarter).~ Go 2 blocks on
Chartres St and turn left on Bienville Street.~ Halfway down the
street, you will see the garage entrance for the Hotel on the
left.
