This superior 3 star hotel is located just a few minutes from the town centre enjoying amazing views on Bournemouth's East cliff. Property is rated 80% on the AA listings, making it one of the highest in its category for this area. Built in 1927 and refurbished in 2007, this family-friendly beach hotel has been transformed into one of the most opulent designer hotels on the UK's south coast and resembles one of Miami's great Ocean Drive Art Deco hotels. The decadent splendour of the 1930's combined with today's urban chic has been carefully woven into this hotel that overlooks golden sandy beaches. This charming establishment is ideal for business travellers and holidaymakers alike. It comprises a total of 106 rooms, and facilities on offer to guests include a lobby area with a 24-hour reception, a hotel safe, a cloakroom, lift access, a bar, a restaurant and conference facilities. For an additional fee, guests may also take advantage of the Internet access and room and laundry services. There is parking available for those arriving by car.

Rooms
The rooms vary in size and are modern in design. All in good condition and many have their own private south facing balconies with sea views (guaranteed on request). Amenities include television, radio, direct dial telephone, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. Four poster bed and family rooms are available, as well as executive suites.

Restaurant & Food
Decorative mirror and black wooden panelling are a few of the stylish features in the main restaurant. A carefully selected menu is available featuring fresh local produce. The hip lounge bar serves a variety of cocktails and light snacks. Outdoor dining by the pool with views of the ocean is available weather permitting.

Activities & Sport
The hotel features a total of 2 swimming pools, one indoor and one outdoor. There are also sun loungers and guests may relax in the sauna or the solarium. Sport enthusiasts may enjoy a game of table tennis or squash, or a work-out in the gym (all for an additional fee). The nearest golf course is a 10-minute drive away.

Directions, How to get there
The hotel can be found by following the signs to Southampton from the M3 and continuing west on the M27. From the M3/M27 follow the signs for Bournemouth and the A338. From the A338 St Paul's roundabout, take Holdenhurst Road, and then take the 2nd exit off the Lansdowne roundabout onto Meyrick Road. Go straight over the roundabout, and take the 2nd left onto East Overcliff Drive. The hotel is on the right hand side.
