Wat Gate, the area of Chiang Mai surrounding 137 Pillars House was formerly designated to foreigners by the government. The house occupies a prime address along the Ping River and adjacent to the Wat Gate Khar Rham Temple for which the community is named. Only 15 minutes ride from Chiang Mai International Airport, and 5 minutes to Chiang Mai Railway Station.

Architectural historians and conservationists worked meticulously to reinforce the integrity of the original 1889 structure at 137 Pillars House. Our guests can expect the same nostalgic ambience in our 30 suites, along with the latest modern comforts and conveniences.
