Situated in the suburb of Four ways, the Palazzo Intercontinental is just 20 minutes away from Sandton and 30 minutes from Johannesburg international airport. 40 kms to city centre 42 kms to the nearest airport (johannesburg) 5 km to the nearest fair site (sandton convention centre)

One of Johannesburg's most luxurious hotels and it's most popular for those wanting the entertainment of the casino attached. The huge outdoor heated swimming pool is surrounded by landscaped gardens and has sun loungers - guests can order food and drinks by the pool. The hotel also has a gym, business centre and is attached the famous casino by a covered walkway. The casino building also has shops, restaurants and bars.
Exterior: The entire hotel is a replica of a 300 year old Tuscan village. The hotel has different parts of the 'village' painted in either Tuscan-terra cotta red or yellow. The tallest part of the hotel is 5 storeys.
Lobby: The grand reception has a Tuscan tiled floor, long marble reception desk to the right and a concierge desk to the left. A large table with fresh flower display is at the centre of the lobby with hanging chandelier above. The lobby has large windows at the entrance affording lots of natural light.

Rooms

Each room has air-conditioning, mini bar, radio and satellite TV with pay-per view movie channel. There is also a writing desk with modem point for lap top use. All rooms have large windows with views of the beautifully maintained gardens. There is 24 hour room service.
