Located on Joo Chiat Road, "Betel Box" is the fruition of our experiences of hostelling, backpacking, and budget travelling around the globe and meeting like-minded travellers. It embodies what we want in a backpackers’ hostel: friendly, respectful, addictive, aesthetically pleasing, functional and representative of all cultures in Singapore.

All our rooms are fully air-conditioned. Our beds are fitted with thick and firm mattresses with firm hypoallergenic pillows, bed linen & blankets. Our bathroom facilities have hot and cold showers. You also get a locker where you can store your valuables.

Included in the price is a continental breakfast where you have a selection of fruits, jams & spreads with tea or coffee. Feeling thirsty or peckish? Grab a couple of drinks/beers and snacks at our well-stocked in-house store at supermarket prices.

We have spacious yet very comfortable and cosy communal areas including a kitchen, dining area, lounge area with comfortable day beds and pillows, a library of books/magazines/newspapers. Relax at our Living Room and enjoy our entertainment centre; Netflix on our large flat screen television with digital sound system, Pool Table, popular board games as well as traditional ethnic games.
