Kingfisher officially opened to the public in November of 2011. It
is a simple, pet friendly destination located in a remote area
called Caparispisan in the province of Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte. This
place is the perfect hideaway if you are looking for a peaceful and
relaxing vacation by the sea. Here, we value your privacy while
maintaining an atmosphere of warmth and camaraderie among guests.
It started off with nipa huts and has grown to include a wide
variety of rooms ranging from cabanas, casitas, superior rooms,
beach huts, and our premiere suite. Our main market are mostly
Europeans, Australians, Americans, and expats from HongKong,
Singapore, and Manila. We have recently started having guests from
the province of Ilocos and balik-bayan tourists (Filipino
returnees). The kitchen offers a wide variety of cuisine suited for
both local and international palates and serving size is quite
hefty so please do share with friends.
Rooms
All units at Kingfisher feature air conditioner/fan and comfy bed.
Certain guestrooms are equipped with king size bed, satellite TV, 3
terabytes of movies, and a DVD player with an array of original
DVDs, a kitchenette with microwave, a coffee maker, and a
refrigerator. Some accommodation come with common bathroom, the
rest are fitted with private bathroom.
Activities & Sport
Outdoor activities offered by the resort include kite boarding,
windsurfing, stand-up paddle boarding, kayaking, snorkeling,
swimming, volleyball, and other recreational sports for an active
lifestyle. The shoreline is a mix of fine, white sand and corals
while the beach has a stretch of over 200 meters of flat, shallow
waters with sea grass, sand, corals, rocks and a variety of marine
life.
