Cosy, warm and convivial are the attributes that best describe this
hotel, a place where guests, many of them regulars, feel at home,
among friends, and would not contemplate going anywhere else. Its
relatively small size, with only 58 rooms available, makes for a
very special friendly, family-like atmosphere. Fully
air-conditioned, it offers a 24-hour reception, a bar, restaurant,
Internet access (for a fee) and room service.
Rooms
The hotel's main rooms are decorated in local style and comfortably
arranged with large beds. Each room has a balcony or terrace,
looking out directly over the beach and the lagoon. There are also
2 larger family rooms, set back slightly for added privacy but
still close to the beach. Their terraces overlook the garden and
its lush, tropical plants. The en suite bathrooms in all
accommodation are fitted with a shower and hairdryer. In-room
amenities include a double bed, a direct dial telephone,
satellite/cable TV, Internet access, a safe, minibar and
individually regulated air conditioning.
Restaurant & Food
Buffets are served at breakfast and dinner, whilst dinner is
alternatively offered à la carte.
Activities & Sport
A local band entertains guests during the evening and once a week
there is a special Sega show, when visitors can discover the music
and rhythms traditional to Mauritius in a flamboyant whirl of sound
and colour. The hotel offers guests use of an outdoor swimming
pool, sun terrace with sun loungers laid out for use and various
sport facilities such as windsurfing, canoeing, pedal boating,
darts, volleyball, bocce, golf and biking. Entertainment programmes
are available for adults.
