Just a 5-min drive from Ubud, this The Viceroy is located in the Petanu valley, near the village of Nagi, and offers spectacular views of the river gorge and terraced paddy fields beyond. Ubud's Art Market and Monkey Forest are both about a 5 minutes drive away. Bali's Ngurah Rai International Airport is about an hours drive, while a helicopter ride will only take 12 minutes.

The Viceroy Bali is an Australian family owned and operated resort in Ubud which consists of 25 luxurious private pool villas. Majestically situated in Bali's "Valley of the Kings" an appellation given by locals for the generations of Balinese royalty who have resided in nearby villages. Villas are generously appointed with the latest electronic amenities, espresso machines, king size beds, as well as private pools and relaxing outdoor spaces each with stunning valley views. Guests also appreciate the impeccable service and standards and peerless public facilities including the award winning Cascades restaurant and bar, and an opulent spa and beauty centre. Additional facilities offered to guests include a complete and modern gymnasium, valley-top infinity pool and a library. It is also the only accomodation in Ubud with a helipad.

Villas
The 25 luxurious private pool villas consist of 14 deluxe terrace villas, 4 garden villas, 4 terrace villas, 2 vice regal villas and 1 presidential villa. Each villa comes standard with such features as an infinity-edge heated plunge pool, a small gazebo that over looks the spectacular Petanu River gorge, a large and fully equipped en-suite bathroom, a walk-in waredrobe and a cozy king-sized bed. Other standard amenities that can be found include IDD telephone, satellite/cable TV, Internet access, minibar, tea/coffee making facilities and individually-adjustable air conditioning.

Restaurant & Food
The award-winning Cascade Restaurant at Viceroy is acclaimed as one of the island's top dining venues. Serving a contemporary French menu influenced by exotic Asian flavours and extensive wine selection, add to that the exceptional backdrop of the Petanu River gorge makes it an unforgetable dining location. The Viceroy Bar serves the finest collection of cognacs, scotches, Japanese whiskies, spirits and cigars.

Activities & Sport
The resorts main outdoor swimming pool is open for guests to enjoy a refreshing dip, while enjoying snacks at the pooside snack bar. Cycling and village trekking tours around the village are available (charges apply to both). Guests can also enjoy a number of spa and wellness facilities ranging from steam room, on site spa services and full-service health spa while rejuvenating oneself with the many body and facial treatments or massages (charges apply to all spa services) .
