The hotel is located in the centre of the town of Husavik and whale watching boats regularly leave the port of Husavik 1 km away. The hotel is 45 minutes' drive from Lake Myvatn and 1 hour drive from the Dettifoss waterfall.

After opening its new annex in 2016, Fosshotel Husavik is now the largest conference hotel in North Iceland. It is believed that travelers deserve the best, wherever they are. Although Fosshotel Husavik is in North Iceland, they offer the same class of quality and style as in the capital area of Reykjavik.
