This hotel was built in 2004 and is the ultimate elegant spa
resort, inspired by the famed thermal springs of Kyllini.
Aristocratic architecture and classic decor reflect the images of
nearby Ancient Olympia. There are two beach pools with exotic
landscaping and a paddling pool. The Thalasso therapy centre is lit
up in the evening to create an ancient atmosphere. Family
activities, a la carte dining and a host of sports and
entertainment facilities can be found in the resort. In addition
the hotel has a lobby with a 24-hour reception desk, a hotel safe,
currency exchange, lift access, a café, bar and restaurant, a shop,
a hairdressing salon, a play room and a TV room. Internet access
and room and laundry services are available for an additional fee.
Guests travelling by car can make use of the hotel car park.
Rooms
The hotel has a total of 208 rooms. The hotel has spacious rooms
with double beds, some of which have additional sofa beds, marble
bathrooms and a luxurious touch. There are also Bungalow Garden
rooms with king sized beds, or Deluxe Bungalow suites with open
plan living rooms, a dressing area, a balcony, and fully equipped
rooms, as well as a garden area. The Dream Villas are
apartment-sized beachfront properties at beach/ pool level and
contain a spacious master bedroom and luxuries such as exclusive
natural cosmetics, among other commodities. All bedrooms are en
suite and contain a direct-dial telephone, satellite TV, a radio
and HiFi, a minibar, a mini fridge, a safe and a hairdryer. Rooms
have balconies/terraces and air conditioning units that can be
individually regulated.
Restaurant & Food
The hotel offers guests an American gourmet breakfast buffet with a
traditional corner offering local products and herb teas. A late
continental breakfast is also served. Lunch is served either from a
set menu or a la carte in the Gourmet Restaurant at the
neighbouring Mandola Rosa. Dinner is served at the main Restaurant.
Desserts are served from the extensive buffets. There is an a la
carte menu provided in the Speciality Restaurant (table
reservations necessary).
Activities & Sport
There is a wide range of activities such as archery (fees apply),
basketball, boccia, table tennis, beach volleyball, water polo and
aerobics available. In the summer an international sand sculpturing
event takes place and sand sculpturing workshops are also offered.
For an additional fee, guests can take part in activities such as
tennis, horse riding or water sports (surfing, wind surfing and
catamarans, canoes and pedalos). Day time activities such as silk
and t-shirt painting (extra charges apply for the equipment) are
also available. Evening activities include hotel entertainment,
folklore shows, dancing evenings and much more. The hotel also has
a total of 4 swimming pools, including an indoor and an outdoor
pool, a children's pool and a pool with seawater. There is a pool
snack bar, a sauna, a steam bath and a massage service that can be
taken advantage of for a small fee. In addition there are
entertainment programmes for both adults and children.
Comments
Guests on half-board wishing to take meals a la carte at the
Speciality Restaurants instead of their pension meal will be given
a price reduction on the food bill. Gentlemen are required to wear
long trousers during the evening.
Directions, How to get
there
GPA Araxos Airport is 56 km northwest of the hotel. From Araxos
Airport follow the signs towards Pyrgos. At approx. 40 km later you
will find the sign towards Gastouni. Turn right. Pass villages
Gastouni and Vartholomio. Continue for 8 km more to Loutra
Kyllinis. The hotel is within the same parkland.
