This city hotel is located under the cliffs of the Acropolis in one of the most significant archaeological sites in Greece. The Acropolis is surrounded by Plaka, the oldest and most picturesque district in Athens. The narrow lanes, villas, traditional taverns, night clubs and souvenir shops are all just a few metres away. Acropolis metro station is 2 minutes away on foot from the hotel.

The hotel was built in 1979 and last renovated in January 2006. It consists of a 6-storey main building with a total of 79 rooms, of which 10 are singles, 69 are doubles and 3 are suites. The hotel lobby has a 24-hour reception, a hotel safe, currency exchange facilities, a tour desk, lift access and a café. The inviting restaurant is air-conditioned and has a separate non-smoking area. In addition, the hotel offers use of a public Internet terminal with wireless Internet. Room and laundry services round off the facilities on offer at this hotel.

Directions, How to get there

From the El.Venizelos airport by car, follow Attiki Avenue to Elefsina and take exit no 11 (Kifissias) to Athens. Then follow Kifissias avenue which turns into Vassilissis Sofias. Be careful, the street name changes after a while to Vassileos Konstantinou. Turn right on to Vassilissis Olgas and then left on to Vassilissis Amalias. The hotel is on the left just by Dionysiou Aeropagitou. Alternatively, take the metro from the airport to Monastiraki. Get off at Syntagma and take the red line to Agios Dimitrios. Get off at Akropolis and the hotel is 100 metres away.
