The Roter Hahn is located in a quiet side street within the city walls, opposite St Johanniskirche just a minutes walk from the Market square. 180 kms to the airport (frankfurt) 80 kms to the airport (nuremberg) 1 km to the nearest station (rothenburg) 15 minute walk to the nearest bus stop 80 km to the nearest fair site (nuernberg)

The hotel offers a pleasant and relaxing product within the city walls.
Exterior: The hotel is built in the typical town house style of rothenburg, with a sloping roof, attic windows and flower boxes.
Lobby: The reception area is very small. It combines the check-in desk and a very limited seating area. It is furnished in a warm, homely style.

Rooms
Due to the age of the building the rooms vary in shape and size but are all in good condition. The bathrooms are shower only. All around the hotel are old pieces of furniture and ornaments, depicting the medieval years of the past.

Restaurant & Food
The restaurant, which is located on the ground floor at the front of the building and is also open to the general public is decorated with wood panelling, old ornaments and brick-a-brack, becoming a very cosy, bavarian style restaurant in the evening.
