popular with day trippers.
Exterior: Low rise island resort with 3 accommodation wings and 3
levels of accommodation located at the northern end of the Island.
Daydream Village is at the southern end of the Island.
Lobby: The lobby is open plan and fairly large.
Rooms
Guests can choose from tranquil garden balcony rooms or spacious
ocean balcony rooms with spectacular views across the island. The
rooms in the hotel are equipped with a private bathroom,
cable/satellite TV, a hairdryer, in-room safe, iron and ironing
board, minibar, radio, tea and coffee making facilities, and a
telephone with voicemail.
Restaurant & Food
There are 3 restaurants, 3 bars and 1 bakery through the Island.
Two of the restaurants and two of the bars are near the
accommodation wings. In the Daydream Village is the third resaurant
and bar as well as the bakery.
Activities & Sport
The resort boasts 3 swimming pools and spas for guests to relax
during their leisure time. Children have their own swimming pool
and there is a poolside snack bar. Just 1.5 km long, the resort is
very popular with day-trippers and also offers a gym, hot tub,
sauna, spa treatments, beach volleyball, minigolf and a tennis
court. Water sports enthusiasts may go waterskiing, jet skiing,
diving, banana boating or catamaran boating.
Directions, How to get
there
From the Great Barrier Reef Airport, Hamilton Island guests should
take a connecting ferry service to the marina on Daydream Island.
Guests arriving at Proserpine Airport on the mainland should travel
to Shute Harbour by transit coach and take a connecting ferry
service to the hotel.
