This hotel is ideally located at the centre of Newcastle and enjoys a position overlooking the River Tyne. Countless shops and cultural venues, as well as many of the most celebrated tourist attractions, can easily be reached on foot or by making use of the local public transport. The nearest train station is only about 3 minutes from the hotel and the high street is 5 minutes away. Worthwhile excursions can be made to the beaches, which lie just 15 km from the hotel.

Opened in 2003 and comprising 7 floors with a total of 274 double rooms, this contemporary styled hotel offers a great base from which to explore Newcastle. Amenities include a currency exchange desk, a bar and an excellent air-conditioned à la carte restaurant with separate non-smoking area. In addition, the hotel features Internet access and an in-house laundry service.

Rooms
The rooms are all in very good condition as the hotel opened late March 2003. They are modern in design with light furnishings and militaristic decor. All rooms have all the facilities one would require, hospitality tray, iron/ ironing board etc.

Restaurant & Food
Arches restaurant offers informal relaxed dining, and array of international cuisine is on offer. There is also the Inn pub serving light snacks and a barista coffee bar offering cakes and again, light snacks.
