The air-conditioned hotel, with 1,850 m² of gardens and
terraces, dates back to the year 1917 and features a
historical-modernist building. It has been completely renovated in
2006, although the original façade has been preserved. A
total of 135 guest rooms, including one Royal Suite (designed by
Francis Montesinos), are available, spread over two floors. Hotel
facilities include a foyer with 24-hour reception, a safe, the El
Jardi lobby bar (with piano music from 6 - 9 pm) and the exclusive
bar, H-Club Valencia. Further amenities include a spa, a
hairdressing salon, two restaurants (Rosmarino and Oscar Torrijos)
with highchairs available for children, five conference rooms and a
banqueting hall for up to 250 persons and WLAN Internet access
(fees apply). Additional facilities available on request and for a
fee include a laundry service and private parking.
Rooms
135 guest rooms combine a classic style with avant-garde
technology. They all have wireless high speed internet access, the
famous heavenly bed and shower/bath, cable channels, in-room
movies, plasma television, voicemail, individual climate control,
safe, mini bar, hair dryer and deluxe bath amenities, 24h room
service, butler service, coffee maker and iron board and fresh
flower. Rooms are spacious enough to have some sitting area.
Restaurant & Food
There are several restaurants and bars. The "Rosmarino" offers
Mediterranean cuisine in a cozy atmosphere; "Gourmet" rest caters
for a la carte international dishes; H-Club Valencia and Club bar
for live music and finally "El Jardi" piano bar.
Activities & Sport
The hotel features the 850-m² Caroli Wellness Center, a health
spa with a relaxing saltwater pool (for adults only), hammam,
sauna, gym, kinesis room and solarium.
Comments
The spa facilities are exclusively for guests 18 years and older.
The WLAN Internet access costs EUR 12 for 12 hours, EUR 18 for 24
hours and EUR 54 for 72 hours. Use of the private parking costs EUR
20 for 24 hours.
