This beach hotel is characterised by quality lodging, restaurants
and entertainment for the whole family. Founded in 1963, this is
the oldest hotel in the hotel chain and has always been able to
adapt to its guests' demanding tastes and needs, whilst maintaining
the welcoming and thoughtful spirit that it has always been
characterised by. Fully air-conditioned, the establishment
comprises a total of 488 guest rooms spread across 7 storeys.
Guests are welcomed into a lobby with 24-hour reception and
check-out service, hotel safe, currency exchange facilities and a
cloakroom. On-site facilities include lift access, a newspaper
stand, a hairdressing salon, a games room, a TV lounge, a
children's playground and a kids' club. Meanwhile, dining options
such as a café, bar, pub, disco and restaurant are also available.
Business guests are sure to appreciate the conference facilities
and Internet access (fees apply), and a laundry service is also
provided for a fee. Guests arriving by car can leave their vehicles
in the nearby car park, whilst those wishing to explore the local
surroundings can hire bikes from reception for a fee.
Rooms
The hotel consists of 20 single rooms and 468 double/twin rooms.
The guest rooms have all the necessary services to provide guests
with the best possible comfort during their stay. They feature a
furnished balcony, a full bathroom with a bathtub and hairdryer, as
well as individually regulated air conditioning and heating.
Furthermore, amenities include a direct dial telephone,
satellite/cable TV and a hire safe. Please note that rooms for 4
people do not include a balcony.
Restaurant & Food
The restaurant has a live kitchen and offers a carefully selected
menu with a variety of options catering for all palates and
nutritional needs. It includes diet meals and alternatives for
coeliac sufferers and vegetarians. Guests can try the chef's
specialties at the breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets, which
include hot and cold dishes, traditional recipes and a wide
selection of desserts.
Activities & Sport
The hotel is home to a total of 6 swimming pools, including 5
outdoor and 1 indoor pool. Convenient refreshments are provided at
the two poolside snack bars, and sun loungers and parasols have
been laid out on the sun terrace. Guests can relax in the hot tub,
or play a game of table tennis, basketball, handball, volleyball,
bocce or minigolf. Tennis, pool/snooker and biking are available
for a fee, and guests can also try their hand at archery.
Furthermore, entertainment programmes are provided for adults and
children, and the nearby beach is sandy.
