The apartments, built in 1790 and renovated in 1999, represent the
best example of a Baroque house in El Puerto de Santa Maria. The
façade displays great beauty with an undulating design and
balconies that further enhance the intense Baroque-style building.
Other major construction elements are twisted columns, the main
courtyard surrounded by galleries, with beams, rails and fittings
which have been restored in full. The establishment consists of 13
50-m² apartments and 4 75 m²-apartments and offers various services
such as free wireless Internet access for guests and a restaurant
with terrace. Facilities on offer to guests include a lobby,
cloakroom, lift access, a games room, TV lounge, café and a bar.
For additional fees guests may take advantage of the room and
laundry services and the garage. Bicycle hire is available
onsite.
Rooms
The apartments have 1 or 2 bedrooms, a living room and a kitchen
with microwave, fridge, utensils and tea and coffee making
facilities. The furnishings are of premium quality. The en suite
bathrooms are fitted with a shower, bath and hairdryer. All
apartments are also equipped with double beds, satellite/cable TV,
Internet access, a safe, a washing machine, an ironing set and
individually regulated air conditioning and heating.
Restaurant & Food
Breakfast is served each morning and lunch and dinner may be
selected à la carte.
Activities & Sport
Guests may relax on the sun terrace. Sun loungers may be hired on
the beach.
Comments
The reception hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and
Saturday from 8:30 am to 9:30 pm and Wednesday and Sunday from 10
am to 2 pm and 6 pm to 9:30 pm. Outside of these hours, customers
will be tended to in the café (Bocoy) until 11 pm and Sundays from
4 pm. After hours reception is provided in the Hotel Los Cantaros.
Every day from 11 pm customers will be tended to by a night
watchman.
Directions, How to get
there
From San Pablo Airport, head towards the centre of Seville and
after 1.6 km guests will find the sign indicating the direction of
Cádiz. After a few kilometres take the motorway A4 through a toll
booth and another one that is out of service. Once past the second
one (Jerez de la Frontera) continue towards Cádiz, taking the exit
for El Puerto de Santa María, Algeciras, Puerto Real. Enter the
national IV for a couple of kilometres to join the N-443 for about
8 km to get to Puerto de Santa Maria. Once in the cruise port and
after crossing the river, guests will meet with the roundabout at
the entrance to the city. Head towards the city centre and just off
the roundabout turn right onto Calle Espiritu Santo. Take the third
street on the left (it will be two stops) joining the Calle Cielo.
Continue straight ahead for 500 m and arrive at the Mercado de
Abasto turning left on the Calle Ganado to the parking centre
(parking near the hotel). A car park is 50 m from the
apartments.
