The beach hotel is a classic example of Liberty architecture and was designed by the famous architects Belluomini and Chini, who are responsible for many of Viareggio's landmarks. Built in 1923, the air-conditioned establishment offers 41 rooms in total and welcomes its guests in a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out services, currency exchange facilities and lift access to the upper floors. There is also a TV lounge, cafe, bar and breakfast/dining room. Internet access, room service and a laundry service are offered for additional fees.

All rooms are equipped with individually controlled air conditioning and central heating, a TV and direct dial telephone. Furthermore the new Prestige rooms feature a minibar, LCD TV and a safety deposit box. A king-size bed and an en suite bathroom with a shower and hairdryer also feature in all rooms as standard.

A breakfast buffet is served each morning and the hotel serves typical cuisine from the regions of Versilia and Tuscany in an elegant and relaxed setting.

The nearest railway station is Viareggio. The hotel can be easily reached when heading towards the seaside, it is about 15 mn walking distance from station. By car coming from Florence, take the A11 towards Pisa (from Lucca) and follow signs for Viareggio.
