The hotel offers a pleasant and comfortable environment in which to
stay. There is one indoor heated swimming pool, a sauna, a
gymnasium, a billiard room, ping pong, and a tennis court. Although
well placed for quick access to and from Paris and Disneyland, the
hotel is most suited for guests with their own private transport.
Nevertheless, the many attractions of the city are easily
accessible from the nearby mainline railway stations. Overall, it
is a delightful product.
Exterior: This is a modern, low-rise, purpose-built hotel with
plenty of parking. The gardens and courtyard feature many plants
and trees, as well as fountains.
Lobby: The lobby is modern and is built in an atrium style, with an
attractive transparent footbridge that as if joins the two wings of
the hotel. It is light and spacious, with a casual seating area and
the eye-catching view to the swimming pool.
Rooms
The rooms vary in size from medium to large due to the layout of
the building. The bedrooms in the A wing of the hotel are nicely
decorated in pastel shades with attractive pale floral bed covers
and curtains, and feature simple modern furnishings. The bathrooms
are in very good condition and are fitted in beige tiling. Each has
a bath, however, there are no hairdryers (they will be set in the
nearest future). In the B wing, the bedrooms are spacious, in light
or deep blue soft furnishings and offer full facilities. The suites
contain separate double bedroom and lounge with one double sofa
and/or single sofa bed. All B wing rooms are with ensuite
bathrooms, which are again in very good condition, and are equipped
with hairdryers. The suites have a bathroom with a bath and a
separate boxed shower unit. Overall, in both A and B blocks, the
rooms are with climate control, triple glazing and the bathrooms
are separated from WC.
Restaurant & Food
The hotel has three individually designed restaurants providing a
range of cuisines and both relaxed and elegant dining. The
restaurant Plaisance, where breakfast is served daily, is located
on the ground floor near the bar Lecrin. It has a very open airy
feel and is classical in style, pleasantly decorated in bright
colour scheme with a polished wood floor. During lunch or dinner
time, the guest are invited to enjoy the food in the restaurant Le
jardin which is situated on the first floor next to the lobby. It
is decorated in traditional style using pinks and creams, with
modern functional furniture. It offers good value for money. The
third restaurant Le Canadel, named after the region in Italy, is on
the second floor, and is themed indeed in Italian style. It is
available on request basis. The bar area is on the ground floor and
is the perfect place to relax and unwind after a busy day. It leads
on to a beautiful terrace, which overlooks a lovely garden with the
goldfish pond. A range of snacks and drinks is served here from 5
pm to 1 am.
Activities & Sport
Guests may take a refreshing dip in the heated indoor swimming pool
or work out in the gym. For additional fees, a massage service and
pool/snooker are provided. Tennis is a further recreational option.
Golfers may like to head to Golf de Lésigny, roughly 3 km from the
hotel.
