Renovated in 2007, this beach resort offers 201 luxuriously
appointed rooms in eleven sunny, coral coloured lodges featuring
native Bermudian architecture and set in a lush 8.5-hectare
tropical beachfront estate featuring crystal caves. Facilities on
offer to guests at this air-conditioned establishment include a
lobby area with a 24-hour check-out service, a hotel safe, a café,
a bar, a disco, conference facilities, Internet access and a
restaurant. Guests may also take advantage of the room and laundry
services and there bicycles for hire. Younger guests will enjoy the
children's playground.
Rooms
All the fully air-conditioned rooms are furnished with either 1
king-size or 2 double beds, and come with a private bathroom with a
bathtub/shower, colour cable TV, a coffee maker, an iron and
ironing board, a mini fridge, a hairdryer and an in-room safe.
Furthermore, a radio, a direct dial telephone, a washing machine,
individually adjustable heating and either a balcony or a terrace
are provided in all accommodation as standard. Some guest rooms
have been improved with new and expanded sliding glass doors, new
entrance doors and lock systems. Some feature new pillow-top ultra
deluxe mattresses, new granite floor finishes on walkways and
balconies and new furniture on the patios.
Restaurant & Food
Breakfast may be selected from a buffet service. Lunch and dinner
may be enjoyed from the à la carte menu or alternatively chosen
from a set menu. In addition, the restaurant caters for special
dietary requirements. Drinks are not included in the price.
Activities & Sport
The resort has its own private sandy beach, a heated open-air
swimming pool with a sun terrace, a poolside snackbar, sun loungers
and parasols and an outdoor hot tub surrounded by gardens, above
the beach. Guests can also enjoy other activites such as sailing,
motor boating, canoeing, snorkelling, windsurfing and diving, or
can explore the delicate and beautiful coral reefs. Sports
enthusiasts may also enjoy a work-out in the gym.
