De La Paix

This is the most stylish of the Siem Reap hotels. It is hip combination of art deco and traditional Khmer design that inspires and excites. More over, the hotel operates a Sewing Training School and Institute of Hospitality for under privileged and "at risk" Cambodian youths. These facilities are provided free of charge and are supported mostly by the donations of guests and friends. It also supports the local communities further by organising sponsorship packages on behalf of guests (e.g. school supplies, water well drilling, piglets (for breeding) and food supplies). The hotels also organise trips to the outlying areas for distribution of those packages. Guests are often eager to partake in these philanthropic issues and benefit spiritually by seeing the effects of their generous donations first hand.

Contrast of absolute modern and very warm decoration in luxury style, the furniture is enriched with dark wood color. The bathroom has slide glass partition separating the area from the bedroom; the room is appointed with dark wood; the shower is separate from the bathtub and the bathroom amenities are custom designed especially for this property. There are 2 classy restaurants in the hotel with one of them being the finest restaurant in Siem Reap, modern with stylish decoration serving French and Khmer cuisine. Breakfast is served in the Cafe de La Paix as well as a vast selection of all day dining. The hotel also provides picnic baskets for day trips.

In the outdoor complex there is a swimming pool with whirlpool features, a childrens pool, a poolside snacks and drinks service, and a sun terrace with sun lounges and parasols laid out ready for use. In addition, the stylish spa complex houses a steam room and provide various massage treatments to individual guests and couples. Sports enthusiasts may also enjoy a work-out in the gym. The Arts Lounge, which acts as a bar/lounge also displays exciting arts exhibitions by local Khmer Artists, Sculptors and Photographers.
