The hotel's garden is a walkway through the private bungalows. It is lavished with flowers, exotic trees and tropical ferns. A now-enormous fig tree planted by an unknown sailor graces the lobby and is the focal point around which the hotel was built. Hotel guests may wish to dine on the terrace overlooking the famous pool, the rippling waterfalls or lavish gardens and exquisitely-manicured grounds. The hotel also offers a bar on site.

Directions, How to get there

Exit the I-10 Freeway at exit 1A for 4th/5th Street. Turn right at 4th Street, then turn left at Wilshire. The entrance to the hotel will be on the right. The hotel is easily accessible from main roads. Los Angeles and Santa Monica buses make stops just outside the hotel. There are numerous bus stops on Wilshire Blvd as well as on Ocean Ave. The hotel also offers a house car for short trips in the area free of charge.
