Built by the renowned Scottish architect Piries in 1845 and renovated in 2006, the hotel is a Grade II listed Victorian building consisting of three separate townhouses, with 32 en-suite guest rooms, a reception lobby and a fully licensed Residents & Non-Residents bar. From Edinburgh Waverley Train Station: once out of the station cross Waverley Bridge and turn left upon reaching Princes Street. Walk down Princes Street, Shandwick Place and West Maitland Street until you reach Haymarket Terrace. Coates Gardens is on the right hand side across the road. By Bus: a majority of local bus services as well as airport bus 100 and the Inter-City bus services to Glasgow, Inverness, etc. all stop at Haymarket Station, a 2-minute walk from the hotel.
