Built in 1638, the Kilspindie House and the neighbouring school were converted into a 26-en suite bedroom hotel in 1970. The hotel is 5 minutes from Longniddry railway station and 20 minutes by road from central Edinburgh. When travelling from Glasgow and West Scotland, join the M8 to Edinburgh city bypass A720. Then take the A1 south exit at Bankton junction following signs to North Berwick. Then travel through Longniddry to Aberlady. Travelling from the south and east, follow the A1 northwards and exit at Haddington junction. Then join the A6137 to Aberlady. Coaches should stay on the A1 and take Bankton Junction to avoid a low bridge. The hotel is situated on Main Street on the left-hand side.
