This hotel is located centrally in a quiet side street just a short walk away from the harbour and fish market. 20 kms to the nearest airport (flesland) 1 km to the nearest station (nsb jernbanen)

This hotel is a rarity in Bergen being privately owned and run, and therein lies its greatest appeal. It is a cosy home from home that will suit all types of traveller. It comes recommended!
Exterior: This heavy stone building is typical of Bergen with subtle art deco touches.
Lobby: The lobby is small and an interesting mix of the traditional and the modern with a pretty chandelier forming the centrepiece and a strikingly modern walnut wood reception desk.

Rooms
The rooms vary somewhat in size, but they are medium-sized on average. They are decorated with subtle style with dark blue carpets and richly coloured soft furnishings. Both the rooms and the bathrooms are in very good condition.

Restaurant & Food
The restaurant is well known in Bergen. It is a long, low traditional room with surprisingly modern, funky furniture. The hotel also has a very well-known and charming cellar bar.
