This hotel has an excellent location, very close to the shores of lake Rotorua and a five minute stroll to the heart of the city's shopping precinct. It is twenty minutes by car to Rotorua airport. 8 kms to the airport (rotorua) 250 kms to the airport (auckland) 1 km to the nearest station (rotorua) 10 minute walk to the nearest bus stop Close to the trade fair ground (rotorua convention centre)

This air-conditioned establishment is Rotorua's largest deluxe hotel and has a total of 227 rooms. The superb accommodation offers a wide variety of scenic views over Lake Rotorua, the natural forest, Government Gardens and the hotel's own native forest courtyard. The hotel welcomes guests into a lobby with currency exchange facilities and there is also a bar and restaurant on site. Business guests will appreciate the conference facilities. Room and laundry services are also offered.

Rooms

The medium-sized rooms are well appointed with all amenities. The quality of both the bedrooms and bathrooms is excellent. The bedding configurations is either two double beds or one king bed. Some rooms are able to add a rollaway bed for triple bed requirements. The bathrooms are generally quite small. Rooms overlooking Lake Rotorua and the Polynesian spa, have balconies. Complimentary tea/coffee facilities.

Restaurant & Food

There are two restaurants, the Brasserie a more informal dining option and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Nikau, is more formal fine dining. The lobby Bar Zazu is a great place for cocktails. Each evening there is a Maoril cultural show and dinner (Hangi) on offer.

Activities & Sport

The hotel offers guests the use of a heated swimming pool, outdoor swimming pool and children's swimming area. There is also a day spa with a sauna and gym for guests to enjoy. Relaxing massage treatments are also available.
