An excellent 4* hotel and the most centrally located in the city.
The casino and bar make it a popular hotel and there is a small
rooftop swimming pool where guests can sunbathe and order drinks
and food. The hotel has conference facilities as well as a business
centre.
Exterior: One of the tallest buildings in Windhoek the hotel is a
modern 15 storey building. The entrance to the hotel is through a
shopping arcade and on the 1st floor. Access to the lobby is via an
escalator.
Lobby: The medium size lobby is carpeted and has a seating area in
the middle. The hotel casino is to the right of the lobby as you
enter and the hotel bar and restaurant are straight ahead of the
entrance. To the left is the wide wood reception desk.
Rooms
The rooms come with a bath, shower, hairdryer and electric razor
(220 v alternating current, 50 Hz), as well as individually
adjustable air conditioning. Also provided as standard is a direct
dial telephone, satellite TV, radio and international adaptor. A
minibar, tea and coffee making facilities, a double bed and hire
safe are also provided.
Restaurant & Food
The large restaurant overlooks independence avenue and serves
breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Activities & Sport
On the roof of the hotel there is an enticing pool and loungers.
Complimentary bath towels are also available, as well as a Jacuzzi,
massages and various other health programmes.
Directions, How to get
there
On approaching Windhoek on Sam Nujome Street, continue to drive in
the direction of the city centre and turn right onto Independence
Avenue. The hotel is on the left side of the street, in the Gustav
Voigts Center, 129 Independence Avenue.
