This historic hotel dates back to 1907 and comprises a total of 70 guest rooms spread over two buildings. The hotel is situated in a prime location on the coast of Whitley Bay and enjoys stunning views across the sea and along the Northumberland coastline. The hotel lobby provides a 24-hour reception and check-out service, a cloakroom and lift access. There is an on-site bar and the hotel is also attached to a nightclub. Further facilities available include a dining hall, conference facilities and parking.

Each bedroom is comfortably styled and furnished and designed with the convenience of the guest foremost in mind. Many bedrooms offer commanding panoramic sea views and provide the ideal base to explore and enjoy the surrounding area.

The Restaurant offers the ideal place to have something to eat, with a varied menu offering something for every taste using the freshest ingredients you will be able to enjoy a delicious meal whilst looking out at the wonderful seaview. Restaurant is only open for evening meals Monday to Wednesday and for Sunday Lunch. It is not open during any other period.

From the South - Head North on the A1(M), at junction 4 exit towards A168/Thirsk/A19 continuing straight, then onto A19 (partial toll road). At the roundabout, take the 4th exit onto the A1058 ramp Tynemouth/Whitley Bay then merge onto Coast Road/A1058. At Beach Road take the 1st exit onto The Broadway/A193. Turn right at Whitley Road/A19 then left at N Parade. Take the 1st right onto S Parade, turning right at Promenade, the hotel is located on the right.
