The Kingdom's first resort hotel was opened in 1923 as The Railway
Hotel, and now offers guests a harmonious blend of past and
present, with every modern facility and convenience. The historic
railway hotel houses a selection of 207 rooms, suites and 42 villas
and has a restful, pleasant ambience, unique architectural style
and magnificent landscaped gardens. Further facilities include an
entrance hall with 24-hour reception, a hotel safe and a currency
exchange facility. Guests can also make use of the on-site
hairdresser, a bar, a restaurant, conference facilities and public
Internet access, as well as the option of room service provided. In
addition to this there is parking available for those arriving by
car.
Rooms
Each room comes with an en suite bathroom with shower and bathtub,
as well as a direct dial telephone, a television, Internet access,
a fridge, a double bed, a room safe and either a balcony or a
terrace.
Restaurant & Food
The guests of the hotel may choose from a selection of exquisite
dining options including al fresco dining at Hua Hin's leading
restaurants the Palm Seafood Pavillion, the Railway Brasserie, Hagi
Japanese Restaurant and Salathai Restaurant at the Villas side to
savour local cuisine.
Activities & Sport
There are 4 swimming pool, putting green on the hotel grounds,
complete with a fully staffed Kids Club. The hotel also has its own
gym, with aerobics classes and a professional massage service.
Guests may also make use of the tennis, table tennis and beach
volleyball courts on the premises, and there is a whole host of
opportunities for cycling, mountain biking and golf in the
surrounding area.
Directions, How to get
there
Guests can avail of a 45-minute air transfer from Hua Hin Airport
45 min by operator Siam GA (SGA) to an air field 7 km from the
resort (10 minutes away). There is also a limousine service that
takes 2.5 hours. The bus takes 3 hours. The train takes 4 hours,
including a 5-minute transfer from Hua Hin Railyway Station.
