The lodge offers exclusive, luxury accommodation in eight colonial-style rooms overlooking the magnificent Mpumalanga escarpment. The property features a variety of fauna and flora, exceptional trout fishing and a distinctive game viewing experience on horseback. Some of the facilities available at the country house are 24-hour security, ample parking, a laundry service, baby sitting services, a TV lounge area, library, restaurant, cocktail bar and room service. Further facilities include 24-hour reception and check-out services, a hotel safe, games room, children's playground, kids' club, bar and conference facilities. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms with a separate shower, bathtub and toilet as well as a double bed, walk-in wardrobe, safe, fireplace, private balcony and complimentary sherry and nuts. A hairdryer, minibar, Internet access, tea and coffee making facilities and individually regulated heating also feature in all accommodation units as standard.

There is an outdoor swimming pool with sun loungers and guests may also relax with a massage or spa treatment. From Johannesburg International Airport take the R21 to Boksburg, turning east to Witbank onto the N12, which joins the N4. Follow the N4, turning off at Machadodorp onto the R541 and follow signs to Badplaas. At the T-junction turn left to Barberton (R38) and the entrance to the lodge is approximately 15.2 km up the road on the left. From Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport take the R40 to Barberton and turn off onto the R38 to Badplaas. The entrance to the lodge is approximately 42 km after the turn off on the right.
